MYL Boys & Girls Fall Instructional Clinic Covid Guidelines

If Players or Parents are Sick
If you are sick on the day of a Clinic (e.g., sneezing, coughing, sniffles, have a fever, or don’t feel well), please do not attend the Clinic.  Anyone repeatedly sneezing or coughing may be asked to immediately leave the premises.

Water Availability
Water will NOT be provided. Athletes, spectators, and coaches will be responsible for bringing their own water. Water bottles shall not be shared between individuals.

Social Distancing Measures
All players, coaches, staff, and spectators should practice social distancing of six feet when feasible – particularly in common areas. All spectators must sit or stand at least six feet apart from one another. To lessen the number of people at the field, only one parent/guardian per player may attend the clinic.  Players and coaches must refrain from handshakes, high fives, fist/elbow bumps, chest bumps, or any group celebrations.
*There will be no access to restrooms.

Personal Protective Equipment
All MYL Staff will have face coverings, and will wear them walking to and from the fields, and certainly within 6 feet of a player.  All attendees including staff, coaches, and spectators must have a face mask with them. Face masks must be worn when in communal settings and when in close proximity to others. All attendees will be responsible for bringing their own facemask.

*This does not include players while playing or coaches when coaching a clinic and/or game.

Everyday Preventive Actions
All attendees should practice everyday preventive actions – including, but not limited to:
*Washing hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
*Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer (with at least 60% alcohol) if soap and water are not available
*Abstain from touching their face (mouth, eyes, or nose)
*Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue and throw tissue in the trash or use the inside of your elbow
*Avoid touching frequently touched surfaces (railings, doorknobs, countertops etc…)
